The customer is into the business of making high-quality, handcrafted jewellery using traditional jewellery techniques and tools. They are uniquely positioned due to their timeless pieces features both traditional
and modern designs, created with meticulous craftsmanship.

The Challenges
The customer had been using Qlik Sense 2018 version for their reporting needs. Customer was unable to keep up with the growing demands of the business. As the company expanded, the amount of data that needed to be analyzed increased, along with the methods of data consumption. The primary challenge client stakeholders faced is to extract insights from the data on the run. From the admin perspective, it was difficult to see analysis of apps that are consuming resources on the server, usage of RAM, data being pulled, patterns of users, peak timings and many more. The other challenge the customer faced is the number of apps being developed by end users, most of them uses the same underlying data sources.

The Solution
The Qlik Sense upgrade was a multi-stage process, especially when there is a huge difference between the two versions. With the upgrade methodology, the end users were not impacted by the upgrade and were able to consume the analytics from the existing server. The Sandbox environment has served the purpose of upgraded system and UAT being carried out on the new system. Eventually, this new system has been turned into the production and fine-tuned to the memory requirements of the system. Rolling out Mobile across organization has helped field agents to quickly analyze data on the field in real time. Configuration of Telemetry and analysis based on it has helped managing the system with little outage and increased uptime. Rationalization has helped in reducing the overall load off the system with lesser no of apps and data sources.
